About
A practice rooted in independent retail
CoveHub Market Advisory helps owners read catchments, rank streets, and plan openings with the same care they give their shop floors.
Registered business
The official registered business name is CoveHub Market Advisory Pty Ltd. The practice was established in 2016 in Buller, Western Australia, after years of shop-floor and leasing work with specialty independents along the Mid West coast.
Early engagements focused on relocation advice for gift and hardware retailers leaving shopping centres for main-street premises. As owners asked for help with second stores, the work widened into full market entry assessments — catchment visits, competitor maps, and opening calendars written for people who still open the till themselves.
Today CoveHub advises independents across Western Australia and, by arrangement, interstate clients preparing a new trading area. We remain a small advisory practice: senior advisors lead every engagement from kick-off to handover.
How we work with owners
Advice stays concrete — streets, rents, supplier lead times — and ends in a document you can share with partners.
Field first
We visit candidate catchments at morning, lunch, and late-afternoon windows when the decision hinges on footfall.
Plain writing
Briefs use go / pause / reshape language. No filler metrics invented to impress a board that does not exist.
Owner pace
Timelines respect lease windows and family decision cycles common to independent retail.
Who we advise
Specialty grocers, gift and homewares shops, hardware yards, apparel boutiques, and other independents with one or two existing stores. We decline work that treats retail as a pure property flip without an operating format.
Community footing
From our Buller office at 5 Carnegie Avenue we contribute catchment notes to local trader discussions and keep relationships with fit-out trades and supplier reps who understand regional lead times.
